Tutorial: 1st Tutorial in Room 510 and at teacher availability

This two-quarter course offers an exciting investigation into the elements of design and how they apply to art creation, art history and theory. Students will explore multiple art medias in the application of projects, exercises and studies of artists that came before them. Art lectures will be provided. Students will learn to plan, propose, produce and critique artwork from stills, models, and from their imagination. This course meets the GUHSD graduation requirements for Fine Arts and meets the UC/CSU Fine Arts �F� requirement.

Class Announcements

Scene of the Crime Perspective Room

Students have chosen their murderer, weapon and room. Now the investigation begins. Students should research room images, furniture, objects and possible clues to fit into their room. By cutting images out of magazines students can use visual references for their final project. They will need a one point room and a two point room that will fit their room selection. They will also need 10 to 12 pieces of furniture and 5 clues.

I am excited about this new year. I look forward to working with my students and hope to inspire and be inspired together in this exploration of the world of making and learning about art.

There are a few supplies that students should have by Monday.
*Sketchbook - 100 page Spiral Bound
*#2 Pencils
*Color Pencil (minimum of 12 colors)
*Eraser
*Pencil Sharpener
